Where it all began
Our story began in a spare bedroom on the Gold Coast in early 2020, when a group of mates with a shared passion for software development came together to build exciting products on their own terms.
Five years on, we've grown into a dedicated local team that values clear communication, trust, and collaboration. Being proudly based in Queensland, we understand the cultural importance of working with an Australian partner—speaking the same language, being approachable, and always up for a chat.

As co-founder and Data Engineer at USE Software, Sam combines his technical expertise with a passion for solving complex business problems through data-driven solutions. Since 2020, he has been instrumental in transforming client ideas into actionable plans, specialising in data engineering while wearing multiple hats across project coordination and business development.
Josh
Principal Software Consultant
Since co-founding USE Software in early 2020, Josh merges technical expertise with thoughtful leadership to deliver innovative, stress-free solutions. He works closely with clients to uncover opportunities for improvement and create lasting impact. Driven by a passion for solving complex, undefined problems, Josh focuses on building long-term relationships while fostering a collaborative team environment.
Chris
Lead Frontend Developer
Chris is a Front-End Developer and UI/UX Designer who combines creativity and technical expertise to craft digital experiences that are intuitive, accessible, and enjoyable to use. With a background spanning film, music, and multimedia, he brings a creative lens to problem-solving, ensuring every product balances form and function.
Reid
Lead Backend Developer
Reid has been part of the USE Software team since March 2022, bringing with him a love of solving technical challenges and a deep curiosity for how systems connect. Reid works across the full stack, but you'll often find him knee-deep in architecture setup, building and maintaining APIs, or refining data queries.
